CatScrap ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Prompt Jockey mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
By using Prompt Jockey, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Apple Sign-In Information
When you sign in with Apple, we collect:
- Unique Apple User ID (required)
- Email address (if you choose to share it)
- Full name (if you choose to share it)
2.2 Prompt Creation Data
We store:
- Prompts you create and save
- Prompt titles, descriptions, tags, and categories
- Prompt creation and modification timestamps
- Version history of your prompts
- Prompts you share publicly or with the community
2.3 Usage Data
We automatically collect:
- Device type and operating system version
- App usage statistics (features used, errors encountered)
- Firebase Analytics data (crashes, performance metrics)
- Browsing activity within the community prompt library
2.4 Subscription & Payment Data
If you subscribe to Premium or make in-app purchases:
- Subscription status and expiration date
- Credit balance for premium features
- Purchase history (processed by Apple, not stored by us)
3. Why We Collect This Data
3.1 Legal Accountability
Important: We require authentication because users create and share content publicly. Linking prompts to verified Apple IDs protects our service and users from:
- Spam and low-quality content
- Harmful or offensive material
- Copyright infringement
- Impersonation and fraud
3.2 Service Functionality
- Sync your prompts across devices
- Maintain your subscription and credit balance
- Enable community sharing and discovery features
- Provide personalized recommendations
4. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers:
- Location: United States (us-central1)
- Encryption: At rest and in transit
- Retention: Until you delete your account
5. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Google Firebase (cloud hosting)
- Apple App Store (payment processing)
- When required by law or court order
- Publicly shared prompts are visible to other users
6. Your Rights
6.1 Access Your Data
Contact us to request a copy of your data.
6.2 Delete Your Account
Go to: Settings → Account Management → Delete Account
This permanently deletes:
- Your user profile
- All prompts you've created
- Credit balance and subscription history
- Cannot be undone
6.3 Export Your Prompts
Use the Export feature to save your prompts before deleting your account.

We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encrypted storage (Firebase encryption)
- Authentication-required API access
- Regular security audits

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING PROMPT JOCKEY.
By downloading, installing, or using Prompt Jockey, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and CatScrap. By using Prompt Jockey, you represent that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- You will comply with all applicable laws
2. Account Requirements
2.1 Mandatory Sign-In
Prompt Jockey requires Apple Sign-In for all users. This is necessary for:
- Legal accountability: Users create and share public content that must be moderated
- Community safety: Verified accounts prevent spam and abuse
- Content ownership: Proper attribution of shared prompts
3. User Code of Conduct
3.1 Prohibited Content
❌ You may NOT create or share prompts that contain:
- Harmful content (hate speech, violence, harassment)
- Illegal content (copyright infringement, fraud schemes)
- Adult or explicit material
- Spam, scams, or misleading information
- Content designed to circumvent AI safety measures
4. Intellectual Property
You retain all ownership rights to prompts you create. By sharing prompts publicly, you grant other users a license to use and adapt them. By using Prompt Jockey, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content.
5. Premium Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Free Tier: Limited prompt storage, browse community prompts, ads shown
Premium Tier ($4.99/month or $49.99/year): Unlimited prompts, no ads, advanced organization features, priority support
Credit Packs (In-App Purchase): Purchase additional credits for premium features
6. Account Deletion and Forfeitures
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Deleting your account results in immediate and permanent forfeiture of:
- All Premium subscription benefits (no refunds for remaining time)
- All purchased credits (no refunds)
- All prompts and data (cannot be recovered)
- Publicly shared prompts (will be removed from community)
Before deleting: Cancel subscription, export prompts, use remaining credits.
7. Limitation of Liability
PROMPT JOCKEY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. CatScrap SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF DATA, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, OR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR USER-GENERATED CONTENT.
